Loads of biogenic compounds and the degree of eutrophication in the dam reservoir of Kozłowa Góra
Summary.

This article presents the research, which was carried out in the water of the Kozłowa Góra reservoir. It concentrated on the influence of the biogenic compounds on eutrophication process. The aim of this article was to define the role of nitrogen and phosphorus on eutrophication the water of the reservoir. Majority parameters (b.o. concentration of total nitrogen, total phosphorus) and permissible and dangerous loads of phosphorus were indicated the eutrophication character of this reservoir. A large concentration of chlorophyll a (the average value: 36,9 μg·dm-3) and a large value biomass of phytoplankton (the average value: 18,2 mg·dm-3) were the results of high level of trophy. This reservoir provides drinking water to people, so, proper protection advisable and prospective conservation measures are necessary.
