In the paper the authors presented the changes in the environment, which were caused by the construction of a new built water reservoir Domaniów. They concerned: technical infrastructure (pro-ecological) and vegetation of ecosystems. The building of a new system in water supply and sewage-disposal is economically practicable and ecological, because it reduces water pollution which can be harmful and limit their utilization. Building a new net of roads, which connect localities in the vicinity of the water reservoir is the result of changes in utilization and management of the terrain. In the zone of the water reservoir the impact on the humidity of soils we can see big changes in ecosystems: in coniferous forests, grassland and fallowed arable lands. The presented changes and new elements of infrastructure give good results and prove good exploitation of the water reservoir from the ecological point of view.
