Sedimentary structures and their usefulness in the Polish Lowland river valleys management

Abstract.

Consideration of the natural features of the studied river valley reach is the principle for the river management. Morphology of the valley bottom, as well as lithology of the alluvia are the indicators of the fluvial processes specific dynamics. Sedimentary structures analysis is an additional precise method for erosion/deposition processes assessment.
