Food for children – the basic criteria of evaluation
Summary.

The aim of the study was to present the food assessment criteria for children in regard to Institute of Mother and Child recommendations. Food products recommended for children should fulfil criteria for assuring high quality (controlled material and high production standard, adequate nutritional value and health safety). The assessment of these products ought to be conducted in paediatric centres dealing with nutritional issues.
