Recreation of the youngest citizens on the basis of open-air kindergartens in Poznań

Abstract. There are two open-air kindergartens in Poznań: Open Air Kindergarten No 1 in Solna street and Open Air Kindergarten No 2 in Przybyszewskiego street. Special attention was paid to ways of arranging these playgrounds, playing facilities as well as grassland management during the research. Open air kindergartens are places of great importance as far as children are concerned; special events with appropriate child care are organized there for both pre-school children and teenagers. Although these playgrounds are very popular and it seems that there is a great demand for them their number is decreasing in Poland.
